These include the type of disease, the number and severity of complications as well as the demographic characteristics of the study population. In a heterogeneous society like India, with great disparity in earning, access to medical care, as well as, differing quality of care, it is very crucial that all factors are taken into account to get the correct picture. The lack of medical records makes it even more difficult to carry out such studies (Kapur, A., 2001). Direct economic costs of disease are those generated by the resources used in treating or coping with a disease, including expenditure for medical care and the treatment of the illness (hospital care, physician services, nursing home care, drugs and other medical needs). These direct costs are often easily measured by surveys and studies. Recently, researchers have also advocated the inclusion of direct non-medical costs, including the transportation costs of patients and costs of care-giving by family members (Sam K. G. et al., 2009). In recent years, technological change has brought about a substantial increase in agricultural output and income in India. The following objectives was farmed to study the impact of new technology on factor shares and to measure the nature of factor biases in technical change. The profit function is inherently a cross-sectional approach. The application of profit function approach is warranted only under conditions of price variations between farms at a point of time. The indirect estimates of production elasticities derived from the Cobb-Douglas production function by using the results. The HYV of paddy cultivation reduces the problem of unemployment in the agricultural sector, particularly in sivagangai district. The present study that the share of land is found to be the maximum for both the varieties. The human labour share in output is observed to be higher for HYV than TV of paddy. The existingliterature showcased their lack of capacity as the fundamental reason for their deprived status. This Lack of capacity is attributed to their income, caste, wealth and educational status. But various modern thinkers repudiate the notion of calculating deprivation on the basis of money and income and point out various approaches for evaluating human deprivation. Nobel laureate AmartyaSen pointed out that the lack of capability to achieve different functions caused for deprivation in people’s lives rather than the low income and scarce resources. So the present study tries to find out the extentof Capability and economic deprivation among SC population in Kerala and pattern of their human capital investment, their socioeconomicstatus and various schemes intended for their welfare and human capital formation. A multistage sampling method was adopted for the study. Various domains, indicators, statistical tools like discriminant analysis, regression analysis etc have been employed in the study and it is proved that increasing the level of capability and human capital formation will ensure their progress. Both rural and urban areas have been experiencing deprivation depending on different domains and their indicators. Thus, migrants are not required to register either at place of origin or at the place of destination. A number of social, economic, cultural and political factors play an important role in the decision to move. The effects of these factors vary over time and place. Today, internal migrants in India have almost 400 million in the 2011 census, over half the global figure of 740 million and almost twice as many as China’s estimated 221 million. These internal migrants, comprising a third of India’s population, are estimated to account for remittances anywhere between `70,000 crore and `120,000 crore. Migration is the process of leaving one’s home or usual place of residence to move to a new area or location in search of work, livelihood or a better quality of life, as a result of marriage, to escape persecution or because of displacement (UNESCO, 2015). Tirupur is heaven for migrants. While the presence of migrants and their contribution to the ‘rise of this boom-town’ has been acknowledged, the magnitude of this workforce, their place of origin, and their aspirations remain relatively unexplored. In this study, modest attempt to address these questions with the objective of analysing the social security needs of the unorganised sector workers, examining the risk management mechanisms that are most frequently used by these workers and assessing their willingness to participate in contributory social security schemes. Econometric modelings were used to identify the awareness of health insurance and to know willingness to pay for health insurance among the migrant workers of the Garment industry in Tirupur. In this changing scenario the banking sector is not an exception. Recent innovations in telecommunications have enabled the launch of new access methods for banking services through various e-channels like, ATMs, credit/debit cards, internet banking, mobile banking, tele-banking, Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) etc. With the advent of smart phones, it became a new technology in financial and banking sector which helps customer to enjoy the banking facility on mobile like account information, transaction, transfer money from one account to another account and other banking facilities are available in our mobile phones. Mobile banking, or m-banking, is one of the most promising tools for achieving a cost-effective pathway to digital financial inclusion at scale. So m-banking not only helps to save our time but it also gives the facility to access the bank account from anywhere and anytime. His ecclesiastic position as a high priest was not an obstacle for him to engage in practicing and propagating agriculture and forestation. He introduced new methods of cultivation, set up miniature farms, introduced new plants in India from foreign countries, and started institutions for the help of cultivators. He was a proponent of mixed farming. He had been scientific and followed systematic cultivation of different crops. Education is the most crucial input that empowers people with skills and knowledge giving them access to productive employment in future. In recent years sustained and high levels of economic growth provide a unique opportunity and momentum for faster social sector development. Investing in education plays a key role in meeting the World Bank’s social development objectives, which support inclusive growth, social cohesion, and accountability in development. Professor Amartya Sen recently emphasised education as an important parameter for any inclusive growth in an economy. The policies have to focus on inclusive rather than divisive growth strategies. Corporate India moving towards this sector is laudable, but it is clear that deficiency in education cannot be met by mere expansion of private schools in urban areas. This helps the income earning opportunities of individuals. However, the benefits of economic growth have not equitably benefitted people across all section of society. The agricultural worker gets an average of 20 days in a month in better agricultural seasons whereas in peak agricultural seasons they get around 25 days of work. The worker who settled in the village opined that they work as full time work round the year for the farmers of the village. The settled workers are paid rupees 120 to 150 based on the work they involve in agriculture and the wages differ based on the nature of work they involve. The competitive advantage of firms that have brands with high equity includes the opportunity for successful extensions, resilience against competitors′ promotional pressures, and creation of barriers to competitive entry (Farquhar, 1989). In conceptualizing how customers evaluate brand equity, it is viewed as consisting of two components – brand strength and brand value (Srivastava and Shocker, 1991). Brand strength constitutes the brand associations held by customers. Basically, brand equity stems from the greater confidence that consumers place in a brand. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well- being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. In recent years, this statement has been modified to include the ability to lead a socially and economically productive life. Preventive healthcare is an important of health since prevention means avoiding or slowing the course of a disease which is essential for a good quality of life. The health problems need special attention in the context of tribal communities of India. Available research studies point out that the tribal population has distinctive health problems which are mainly governed by their habitat, difficultterrains and ecologically variable niches. The health, nutrition and medico-genetic problems of diverse tribal groups have been found to be unique and present a formidable challenge for which appropriate solutions have to be found out by planning and evolving relevant research studies. Sickle cell anemia continues to be a global health problem that presents major challenges to our health care systems. The reviewed Sickle cell anemia literature indicates a much need for more public education and awareness on Sickle cell anemia in the India especially the tribal parts of the country. Sickle cell Anemia (SCA) and its variants are genetic disorders resulting from the presence of a mutated form of hemoglobin, hemoglobin S (HbS). The most common form of SCA is homozygous HbS disease (HbSS), an autosomal recessive disorder first described by Herrick in 1910. In 1952 Lehmann and Cutbush reported Hb-S in tribal population of Nilgiri in south India. Sickle Cell gene is mainly present amongst tribal group, from malaria endemic forest areas. According to one of the hypothesis, HbS is a natural mutation in Hemoglobin molecule to protect RBCs from malarial parasites by making them a little rigid, so that malarial parasites cannot enter into RBCs. Sickle shaped cells often get entangled resulting in blockage of the blood vessels leading to severe health complications. The present study is proposed to know about the prevalence, incidence treatment seeking behavior and economic burden of Sickle Cell Disease Affected Tribal’s in Nilgiris district. The Dalit entrepreneurs are still slotted into their traditional occupations which are manual based and really form of low level wage empowerment. Scheduled castes and Scheduled tribes are two groups always collectively struggling by various socio-economic victims such as discrimination, disabilities, untouchables practices, treatment of impure and polluted community, inequality etc. which are all refer the socio-economic disabilities. These who do think of moving into self-employed ventures Money is the only matter to promote the socio-economic conditions of the Dalits. Hence, there is a need for specialized institutions to provide financial assistance to Dalits. In India, various schemes and programme have been initiated and introduced to promote the Dalits. The TAHDCO is one of the institutions extending support to Dalits. This paper made an empirical analysis and reveals the role of TAHDCO in Dalit entrepreneur empowerment in Theni district. Chettinad is one of the famous heritage tourist’s destinations in Tamil Nadu. It is famous for magnificent historically, culturally, ecologically and also the most popular state which provides distinctive platform to sell traditional handicrafts, Chettinad sappadu, athankudi tails in the tourist markets. For the analysis we admired field study methods based upon the conceptual theory. Based on the theory and experience we were constructed the different questionnaire for domestic and foreign tourist, we performed a controlled empirical method such as a field survey, hereafter statistical package were used to analysis and proved the hypotheses.; Findings: Through the statistical package we were admired different tools like garret ranking, factor analysis, multiple regressions and also structural equation model were constructed. First empirical result is found that own interest and others few reasons is the major factors that motivate to visit the Chettinad areas. Secondly, it is felt that there were nineteen factors identified by the researcher to measure the tourist expectation towards Chettinad tourism. Each factor is correlated with common factors. Through the factor analysis all these factors of tourists are brought under three heads namely, good quality services, effective services, and improvement of Chettinad tourism. Finally the structural equation model findings help us to understand that the expectations of tourists as well as shoppers lead to the satisfaction of visitors as a variables have significant influence on Chettinad tourism.; Improvements: Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation provides best infrastructure facilities Chettinad areas for international tourists. Econometric studies indicate a direct relationship between development of physical infrastructure and economic growth. The importance of infrastructure development for sustained economic development is well recognized throughout the world. Inadequate and inefficient infrastructure can prevent the economy from realizing its full growth potential regardless of the progress on other fronts. In this paper, the overall growth and performance of infrastructure services has been examined partially on the basis of the different parameters such as trends in growth of physical output in infrastructure sectors so as to examine whether there is a negative or positive association between infrastructure development and Nagaland's economic growth. The study which is based on secondary data collected from various sources, shows that while, there has been a general improvement in the provision of economic infrastructure facilities in the region, the achievements made so far is well below the national average. The paper shows that the government has proposed policies for development of the state but various factors such as insurgency, geographical factors and infrastructural constraints have hindered the expected outcome of the policies. After analyzing these reasons we conclude our paper by suggesting various measures that can be adopted to overcome these problems and accelerate the development process. Statistical tools such as compound annual growth rate, partial factor productivity indices of labour and capital and solow indices of total factor productivity indices were used to analyze the data. It was found that industry-wise growth of labour productivity indices showed that from the beginning of the period to the end of the period it was maximum for textiles (3.13 fold). The annual trend rates calculated revealed that labour productivity growth rate was statistically significant excepting the manufacture of paper and paper products. It ranged between 2.7 percent and 11.9 percent across the agro-based industries. The partial factor productivity of capital across agro-based industries in India over the reference period indicated that across the period and across the industries changes were mixed (increasing / decreasing). The annual trend rates calculated showed that 4 out of 9 industries recorded positive growth rate. But it is a sorry state of affair that majority of these industries had shown insignificant growth rate. Across the years except during 2005-06, the total factor productivity indices had shown increase at the end of the period compared with initial period. It might be due to the provision of better infrastructural facilities developed in these years across the low technology industries. Unlike workers in the organized sector, unorganized sector workers did not have steady employment, secured or sustainable incomes and were not covered by social security Protection. The situation was further worsened by the market failures – covering capital markets, insurance market, and Labour markets which are of particular importance for the security of the less well-off section in the society. Therefore the Government should play a fundamental role in raising the standards of living through various types of direct and indirect interventions which influence nutrition, health and other constituents of human well- being. But deprivation and vulnerability to vagaries of life were the major threats to the workers in the urban informal sector. The structural adjustment programmers initiated in India since 1991, have also contributed in some measure to the economic and emotional vulnerability of workers in the organized and unorganized sector. All these call for a sustainable and expanded coverage of promotional and protective social security programmes. The available research works, both theoretical and empiri¬cal, on the supply and demand sides of the labour market has been inadequate. Researchers have identified five form of social security Viz. employment, income education, health, food and women. The present study confines itself to the one form of social security i.e., Health security. Coimbatore District is well- known for its textile and engineering industry which consists of units turning out a variety of products needed by different types of industries, as input. Apart from supplying components to major units, many engineering units are engaged in producing consumer durables too. Using the number of units functioning and the size of workforce as the criteria, textile industry and three prominent engineering industries, namely, foundry, Pump and textile machinery industries were chosen for the purpose of the study. The result of the study would be of much interest and relevance to those who are serious about transforming the working environment of those engaged in the production process of the selected industries. No doubt, the government/policy makers would be the main beneficiary of the outcome of the present study. It would be able to understand the difficulties faced by workers, many of whom are engaged in hazardous work spots. Policy making bodies of the government machinery are sure to gain input when they think about schemes that would lessen the problems faced by the worker. Research on women’s Health status has found that the contributions of Indian women make to families often are overlooked, and instead they are viewed as economic burdens. The connection between the health status of the individual (or the population as a whole) and consumption of medical services builds the link between economics of health and economics of health care. Status of health shows the development of the society. Health status is influenced by different indicators like employment, income, educational attainment, social groups, level of awareness, accessibility to health care and availability of health services. Today, throughout the world women are the major victims of cancer disease. India is also not exception. In India the women health is largely neglected in general and this led to the lack of medical treatment for the women cancer patients. Existence of gender discrimination in providing medical facilities to the women is clearly apparent in India. In 2010 there were 5, 17,378 women cancer patients in India. On the same year the number of male cancer patients was 4,62,4085. Though, India made considerable progress in social, economic, cultural and political are as in recent decades, while, it lagged behind in improving women health, particularly the women cancer patients . In this study the researcher make an attempt to know the determinants of Health status of Women cancer patients in Coimbatore District at Micro level.
