Abstract
This research paper explores the women’s voices and identity in Anita Desai literary works, uncovering a rich tapestry of female characters and narratives that reflect diverse experiences of women in Indian society. By examining Desai’s portrayal of female portray of female identity, this study aims to contribute to the growing prominence of women’s voices in literature and foster a deeper understanding of gender and identity in contemporary literature. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis valuable insights into the complexities of women’s identity and highlights the significant contributions of Desai’s literature in shaping the discourse on women’s identity in Indian literature.
