Water Management thoughts of the Sangha Tamil people

Abstract

The society continues to justify the destruction of nature and man-made destruction caused by man’s survival theory. The people of the Sangam period adopted management methods to protect themselves from the disasters that occurred due to the variability of nature and the desire for domination by man, both before and after the disasters occurred. That time is considered to be a time when human beings had acquired a form and scientific development was not systematic. Nevertheless, the purpose of this research article is to know how they managed the river water by storing and managing the water to prevent disasters caused by water.
