Abstract

This paper elaborates on how various Jain didactic literature, epics, puranas insist on the abstinence from toddy and other types of liquor including the narcotics. Also, it highlights the need for the enlighting the younger generation by revisiting these texts. Aim of the study: To educate people about toddy.
