Abstract

Wise scholars, mature in knowledge, have transformed their experiences into literature and laid out a proper path of life so that future generations may live without suffering. They have instructed us like a mother advising her children, saying “living this way brings happiness,” “doing these things causes sorrow,” and “this will lead to harm.” Among the ethical literary works, Innanarpadu serves as a treasury of wisdom, expounding life’s philosophy to all. By understanding the root causes of all kinds of problems that arise in life and striving to eliminate them, one can lead a pleasant life. It is essential not only for us but also to keep those who depend on us happy. In Innanarpadu, the great Kapilar has elaborated on the life philosophy of what to avoid in order to find happiness in life.
