Abstract

The anthology called Purananuru is a Sangam Tamil text containing four hundred poems. The poems of Purananuru are situated in a manner that describes the excellence of various poets who lived in different periods from the Chera chieftain to the last Chera kings, and the heroic conduct of the Tamil people. This article is structured to describe the places where particles are used in these Purananuru poems.
