Abstract

The one who creates works becomes the creator. The creator forms literature by imprinting what is seen with the eyes and heard with the ears into their thoughts. In the civilizational development of humanity, poets have been composing poetry since ancient times. Through their creations, we can understand the flourishing, emotional intensity, and poetic trends in human life. In Sangam literature songs, many scenes rich with imagination, similes, metaphors, and descriptions of nature are found to be beautifully tasteful. These songs have been composed by poets of both genders. Although the songs of women poets are fewer in number, the creative prowess of these women poets appears to be of excellent quality.
