Abstract

Mahakavi Bharathiyar is known as Tamil's unavoidable great individual poetry movement. Bharathi's poems have spirituality, nationalism, Tamil identity, feminism, and others as their subject matters. The aim of his works was for Tamil society to achieve excellence. That is why, like the works of many world poets, we can see an ideological unity (thematic unity) in his works as well.
