Abstract

When beginning to systematically write about world politics, it has become a customary practice to start from Greek civilization. Not only foreign scholars but also Tamil Nadu scholars follow this same practice. While there is nothing wrong with this, it would be much better to study the political philosophies present in our ancient Tamil civilization along with it. In that manner, we can examine the political philosophy of Sangam period Tamil Nadu through Sangam literature in this research article
