Abstract
In ancient Tamil Nadu, the Sangam Tamil kings who ruled with dignity are prominently described in the SangamPuram poems for their valorous life, generosity, governance, justice, and administration. While the EttuthokaiAgam poems contain several references to external (Puram) events, the objective of this article is to explore the historical accounts about the Cheras found specifically within the Agam works.
