“Karma” as Explained by Vedaththiri Maharishi – A Study
வேதாத்திரி மகரிஷி கூறும் 'கருமையம்" - ஓர் ஆய்வு
Abstract
According to Vedaththiriyam, karma (action) is related to the soul (āṇmā). Karma is the medium that records all the good and bad actions we perform. In the cycle of life, magnetic energy continuously circulates. Just as in any rotating system where the center experiences higher pressure while the outer parts have lower pressure, this principle is called “uniform equilibrium” (thulliya samathala seermai). Similarly, in this philosophical framework, the rotational speed of the magnetic waves creates a central pressure, and this magnetic pressure is identified as karma. By refining our thoughts and elevating the mind, we can purify our karma. As Vedaththiri Maharishi states, “Each person is the sculptor of their life; their thoughts are the chisel.” Therefore, we should cultivate good deeds and refrain from evil.
