Abstract

It is widely acknowledged in literary studies that literature emerges from the lived experiences of people. Literature reflects the profound experiences and moral values observed in human life. Each circumstance and context provides insight into how people of the past were affected by events and how they responded to those influences. In this way, literary works serve as repositories of experiential knowledge, documenting the actions, behaviors, and values of individuals in specific situations. To narrate life as it was lived, in words, is the essence of literature.
