Abstract

Christianity related to epic literary forms is a genre that narrates the life history of Jesus Christ. It is noteworthy that in the history of Tamil literature, Christianity is rarely seen among various epic literary works. The aim of this article is to highlight the distinctive literary features of this epic, illustrating how the narrative of Christianity was adapted into Tamil literary traditions, and how it stands out for its stylistic and thematic qualities among other epics.
