Abstract

The mind is referred to by various terms such as Ullam, Ulam, Nenjam, Manasu, Idhayam, and Akam. The term Ullam encompasses the emotions, thoughts, reflections, likes and dislikes, qualities, habits, virtues, vices, and cultural traits that arise from it. This article explores how these mental and emotional dimensions influence self-protective behaviors in everyday life.
