Abstract

Techniques hold a special place in modern literary creations. Authors employ various techniques, whether planned or unplanned. These greatly assist in the development of the work and make the narrative flow more engaging. "What helps in properly understanding a work of art are the techniques that are integrally woven into that artistic creation," says Tirumalai about the assistance of techniques (Tamil Short Stories Yesterday and Today, Volume 3, p.20). Techniques not only help in understanding the author's thoughts and ideas well but also serve as a field for evaluating that artistic work
