Abstract

Tolkapiyam is an encyclopedia that encompasses the mental emotions and life elements of Tamil society. Grammar is essential for a language to flourish and thrive. Although Tolkapiyam is the ancient grammar of Tamil society, there is ample scope to find new thoughts, ideologies, and techniques in it. Therefore, this article is structured to analyze the psychological concepts and theories, which are part of scientific disciplines, in relation to the love theories stated by Tolkapiyar, particularly with the theory of secret love (Kalavu)
