Abstract
Historical events are recorded on the basis of time. Various kinds of evidence help us to trace and calculate the period of the Sangam-age Pandya kings. Inscriptions, copper plates, and literary works provide us with authentic history. To understand the history of the Pandya rulers of the Sangam period, one must study the time span from the 7th century CE to the 10th century CE.
