Abstract
Some tribal people, who can be considered among the most ancient at the global level, live in the South Indian region. They continue to live as indigenous people who even today hunt in forests and survive by collecting various forest products. In Tamil Nadu as well, tribal communities identified as ancient indigenous people in most places - such as Thodavar, Kothar, Kurumbar, Irular, Paniyar, and Kattu Nayakkar - live in various locations. These tribal people conduct their lives in mountains and forests. In ways that improve their livelihood, they categorize methods for living such as occupational practices, beliefs, customs, worship methods, rituals, and entertainment. Similarly, the wildlife living in forests is also being destroyed for human selfishness. Moreover, forests are being destroyed and nuclear plants and factories are being established. Based on this foundation, the awareness expressed in the novel 'Kanagan' can be seen in the following article.
