Abstract

Among the sixty-four fine arts, the art of yoga is indispensable. Yoga is the art that helps regulate human life and creates both benefit and detachment. Thirumular has explained the importance of nurturing and protecting the body by saying "I nurtured the body; I nurtured the soul!" Therefore, yoga is the only way to nurture and protect the body, soul, and mind. This article aims to explain the yogic principles blessed by Thirumular for people in society to live with physical strength and without disease.
