Abstract

The changes that have occurred in Tamil literary criticism due to the influence of Western literary critical theories have expanded today with various dimensions. The improvements in information technology due to scientific development have accelerated the growth of information creation and information publication. Due to external factors, classical literary texts are being printed and published in ways that give new meanings. Information communication systems such as news organizations, print media, and visual media work together to form public opinion. Since the number of educated middle-class people has multiplied several times in the past few decades, a tremendous surge has emerged in Tamil studies. The scope of Tamil studies, which operates broadly and deeply today, has recently expanded beyond the field of vision of young researchers.
