Abstract

In the study titled Kombumuri game in Tamil cultural heritage games, the first sub-topic is the origin history and structure of Kombumuri game. After that, the sub-heading of the game of Kombu Muri is played in the shadow film. Also, moving through pictures about the structure of its parts and then explaining about the materials used in kombukri game, it has clarified how such capital goods are selected as such goods are seen as natural capital goods. After this, Kombumuri game has been associated with religious activities, so some structures have also mentioned the rituals and preparations that are done until the game is finished by preparing the horn. Along with this, Kombu method clearly tells about the way the game is played and the excitement of the game and the celebrations that are carried out after success have told the Tamil culture. Also, as this sport is followed only in Eastern Sri Lanka, there is a place where Kannakai is worshiped and there are significant places that mark the areas where the sport is performed. Finally, in the conclusion, although Tamil games are found in the Tamil artistic culture, this study has been completed with the noble aim of passing on the characteristic of the kombumuri game found in the Tamil worship related to the ancient Kannakai worship of Eastern Sri Lanka to the rest of the society, and with the request that the youth of today should carry out this game with rituals.
