Abstract

Perunchiththinar’s songs exemplify pure Tamil style, simple diction, and meaningful expressions while adhering to the unchanging grammatical rules of the Tamil language. Through journals like Thenmozhi Tamilchittu, he actively contributed to social service and was a staunch proponent of the policy of a distinct Tamil Nadu. This study examines Perunchiththinar’s Tamil contributions, including the achievements he realized through his activities in the freedom movement.
