  • Aptitude Test

    Of all the tests Aptitude test hold a prominent place in evaluating one’s mastery of the English language. Aptitude tests have predictive validity of one’s ability, interest, knowledge and value about a particular area of study. It attains prominence in evaluation technique. Therefore it is imperative on the part of the learner to know where he stands. These tests help to enhance the performance of students in interviews and their professional development. The papers on Aptitude test will be published in series from forthcoming June 2019 issue onwards.

  • Error Analysis

    As English is not our native language, there is a higher possibility of committing errors knowingly or unwittingly. The Editor draws your attention to evaluate yourself the extent of knowledge that you possess related to the writing of impeccable English. Knowledge of Error Analysis is an area which is of much importance to teaching community and professionals of all short. Poor acquisition of expertise in Error Analysis is liable to damage your personality.

  • Research Paper employing reciprocal teaching technique for the enhancement Achievement in reading skill

    To teach English, there are various approaches such as Situational Approach, Oral Approach, Structural Approach, Communicative Approach, Constructivist Approach and Gestalt Approach to name a few. The next issue highlights the effectiveness of Reciprocal Approach in learning English (Reading skill). In each item, the readers may find a paper employing any one of the approaches mention above.

  • Philosophy of an eminent poet

    It is to be conceived that the poets are endowed with a philosophical bent of mind. The philosophy of a particular poet is likely to be reflected in his article. Next issue presents the philosophy of T.S. Eliot.

  • Critical study of the novel/poem/short stories

    The Editorial Committee has contemplated to bring out a paper in each issue furnishing a critical study of a piece of literature by renowned Indian/Foreign writer.
