Abstract

The gripping tale Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King tackles the subject of perseverance in the face of misfortune. The narrative demonstrates the transforming potential of resilience in the face of injustice and incarceration via the character of Andy Dufresne. This abstract looks at the different ways that resilience is shown throughout the novel, such as Andy’s steadfast will to uphold his innocence, his cunning adjustment to the harsh realities of prison life, and his never-ending yearning for forgiveness.
