Unheard No More: Addressing Childhood Abuse
Abstract
Child abuse, both physical and emotional, is a compelling global issue that remains underreported due to a lack of awareness and cultural silence. Despite the presence of preventive measures, such as child rotection agencies, school counselors, and helplines like Childline, the effectiveness of these systems is often overlooked in studies and literature. This paper highlights the importance of addressing child abuse and examining the gaps in reporting and intervention. This paper advocates for a stronger emphasis on preventive measures and awareness campaigns to break the silence and create a safer world for children. The conceptual study aims to reinforce the need for systemic improvements in child protection.
