Abstract

Workplaces are no longer associated with only one physical place. Hybrid work models have become a favorite of many organizations where employees would alternate on-site and remote working. The paper examines the ways Artificial Intelligence (AI) is influencing these models by making them more flexible to employees, more collaborative, and more efficient to the organization. The applications of AI take out repetitive jobs and make communication easier as well as maintain a healthy work-life balance. Meanwhile, this paper also recognizes the obstacles to change, including data security concerns, digital exhaustion, and the necessity of life-long learning. Based on the industry examples and scholarly studies, the results indicate that AI is useful when deployed in a responsible way to ensure that the employee is always engaged, decision-making is better, and it can also be used to sustain businesses in the long-term.
