Abstract

Consumer behavior and management of personal finances are also changing greatly due to the development of Financial Technology (FinTech). The effects of FinTech innovations on consumer interactions with financial services are witnessed through this paper. Mobile banking, digital wallets, and automated investment platforms have brought the convenience and access that is impacting significant shifts in consumer behavior and financial practices and therefore, both FinTech providers and financial institutions should be aware of the changes that are occurring. Using data analytics allows FinTech platforms to tailor their financial offerings, enhance financial literacy and promote healthy financial behaviors. Risks such as security risk, digital illiteracy and risk of increased financial exclusion must be controlled. Trust and robust protection of data, as well as inclusion are critical to the uptake of FinTech on a long-term basis. Moreover, the constantly evolving regulatory environment and preserving the dynamic character of consumer expectations should be managed by the organizations that are interested in utilizing the opportunities of FinTech. Through this awareness of their effects and how to deal with the associated issues, stakeholders can more effectively exploit the potential of FinTech to enable consumers and improve their individual financial management.
