Abstract

Descriptive prose refers to prose constructed with the intent of highlighting aspects such as the greatness of a land, the abundance of a country, the prosperity of its cities, or the splendor of a person’s appearance. The depictions found in the poems of Ainkurunuru reveal that, during that era, the natural resources were plentiful, there was remarkable biodiversity, and people led lives closely intertwined with nature. Poets convey these descriptions through expressive phrases and metaphors. This article aims to study how such descriptive prose is manifested within Ainkurunuru
