Abstract

The economic development of a company to a large extent depends on human resources. Women constitute around half of the total world population. All over the world women are playing a vital role in the business community. In India, however women have made a comparatively late entry into the business scenario mainly due to the orthodox and traditional socio –cultural environment, though they are enjoying a specialization in the society. Today a woman is more liberated and lead a happy and peaceful life with the support of husband and family members. C. Van Rooyen, R. Stewart and T. de Wet (2012)1 stated that the microfinance is seen as a key development tool, and despite the current deepening crisis within the industry, it continues to grow in sub-Saharan Africa. We systematically reviewed the evidence of the impacts of micro-credit and micro-savings on poor people in sub-Saharan Africa.
