Ku.Ve.Ba.’s Style Personality in Short Stories
Abstract
Classical literature in Tamil has flourished to a great extent. The socio-economic development in India with the arrival of the British also started to change the course of literature. Due to the development of media like newspapers, educational reforms brought by the British and the influence of western literature, new literary trends developed. As a result, there was a literary renaissance in the Bengali language. The development of modern literature was seeded by writers like Pakim Chandra Chattershi and Rabindranath Tagore. The impact was felt in Tamil as well. Mahakavi Bharatiyar was the pioneer of modern literature in Tamil. He is the creator of renaissance literary works such as poems and novels. After him, V.V.S. Tamil literature was modernized by modern authors like Iyer and Madhavaiya. Prof. K.V.B. Since his youth, he has contributed to Tamil literature in various works. Some of his works have been kept as syllabus for university students, seeing that his works are written with good social purpose and literary ethics. G.V.B. After deciding to conduct research based on short stories, K.V.B. This article is based on the concept of character in short stories.
